Four friends Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug travel to Las Vegas to celebrate Doug’s bachelor party. After a wild night of partying, they wake up in their trashed hotel suite with no memory of the previous evening and, more importantly, with the groom (Doug) missing.
The film follows the three remaining friends, played by Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis, as they embark on a hilarious and chaotic quest to retrace their steps and find the missing groom. Along the way, they encounter various outrageous situations and eccentric characters, including a tiger in their bathroom, a stolen police car, and a baby.
The movie is shocking, absurd and hilarious throughout the fast-paced story. If you are planning to have a fun night with the boys, ‘The Hangover’ just might be it.

As a result of the mix-up, the trio finds themselves entangled in a chaotic and dangerous adventure involving gangsters, police, and a series of comical mishaps. The film is a fast-paced, irreverent romp that blends humor with action, offering a raw and unfiltered look at urban life in Delhi.
More than anything it is absolutely hilarious and has even gained a cult following over the years. If you are finding a movie to watch with your friends, and have watched ‘The Hangover’ series this just might be it.
Some Like it Hot
Director: Billy Wilder
For Fans of : Billy Wilder, Marilyn Monroe, Classic Movies
Where to Watch:
I am certain you must have heard of this movie whenever you talk about comedy movies. And all I want to say is that it’s all true; it’s just so damn funny.
Joe (Tony Curtis), a jazz saxophone player, and Jerry (Jack Lemmon), a jazz double bass player, are close friends who perform at a club owned by gangster “Spats” Colombo (George Raft). They lose their jobs because of a police raid, and since they are broke, they try to find work. While searching, they accidentally witness Spats and his henchmen murdering a rival gang as revenge for tipping them off. They somehow manage to escape the crime scene and evade getting killed. However, all of Spats’ men soon begin searching for these witnesses of the killings.
Though hesitant at first, desperation and fear compel them to disguise themselves as women named Josephine and Daphne to join an all-women band to leave the town as soon as possible. They both become infatuated with one of the girls they meet there, named Sugar (Marilyn Monroe). Sugar is tired of getting betrayed by male saxophone players. Joe poses as a millionaire, the heir of Shell Oil, to win Sugar over. Meanwhile, an actual millionaire, Osgood Fielding III (Joe E. Brown), falls in love with Daphne (actually Jerry) and pursues her. From then on, we are taken on this amusing and hilarious journey of the progress of the relationship between Osgood and Daphne, Sugar and Joe, and on the sidelines, Spats attempting to kill both of them.
Superbad
Director: Greg Mottola
For Fans of : Friendship Movies, Awkward teen movies
Where to Watch:
“Superbad” is a 2007 coming-of-age teen comedy film directed by Greg Mottola. The story follows two socially awkward high school friends, Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera), as they navigate the challenges of adolescence. They are determined to do one thing. To lose their virginity before graduation. In desperation to impress their crushes, they plan to attend a wild party and procure alcohol for the same. However, everything does not go as planned when their third friend Fogell with the fake ID messes up his task of bringing the booze and accidently befriends two eccentric police officers.
Superbad is humorous, filled with witty dialogues, awkward, and even heartfelt. The friendship is grounded and the strong performances by the three actors make it all the more real. It is without a doubt one of the best teen comedy movies I have seen.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Director: Guy Ritchie
For Fans of : British Crime Comedy
Where to Watch:
Four long-time friends ( although you wouldn’t know it by the sarcasm that flies around the room when they start gabbing.) and small-time criminals Eddie (Nick Moran), Tom (Jason Flemyng), Soap (Dexter Fletcher), and Bacon (Jason Statham) put together 100,000 pounds for a high-stakes game with Hatchet Harry, a gambling and porn kingpin. Eddie, a genius card sharp, plays in this game exclusively for the Big Dogs. But the game is rigged. Harry cheats and in the moment of the game Eddie ends up owing Harry an enormous debt of 500,000 pounds. The four friends have only a week to pay up Harry. On the other hand, Harry’s giant enforcer, Barry the Baptist, played with amazing strength by Lenny McLean, tells that he will start chopping each of their fingers for each day they are late for the payment. And if their fingers get over, he will come for the pub belonging to Eddie’s father.
500,000 pounds is a huge amount to get in a week. So what to do now? Eddy and his mates happen to listen to the next flat criminals (due to thin walls) who are planning to rob a rich drug dealer who is naïve in terms of security. What’s the best thing to do here? Let the neighbors steal from the drug dealer and you steal from the neighbor. And that is what they do too. Meanwhile, Harry hires two thieves, Gary and Dean, to steal two Holland & Holland shotguns from a bankrupt Lord, which are up for auction. One thing leads to another and all the threads of the plot slowly twist together and everything gets connected.
The strength of the film, the area where it truly is rich is the script. You wait and are excited for that next cheap giggle the actors are gonna throw, those bizarre surprises, the delightful inventive patter, the sarcasm of the four blokes, and the British slang which is filled in those places you need them the most.
“A minute ago this was the safest job in the world. Now it’s turning into a bad day in Bosnia.”

The story revolves around Akeem’s desire to break away from the traditions of arranged royal marriages and find a woman who loves him for who he is rather than his royal status.
In order to experience life outside of Zamunda and find a suitable bride, Akeem travels to New York City with his loyal servant Semmi, played by Arsenio Hall. They disguise themselves as ordinary immigrants and take on low-profile jobs at a fast-food restaurant owned by Cleo McDowell (John Amos). However, he has not much of an experience of living a normal life. Akeem eventually develops a romantic interest in Lisa McDowell (Shari Headley), Cleo’s daughter, who works at the restaurant.
Coming to America is a really heartwarming movie that showcases Murphy’s comedic talent making it really entertaining and enjoyable.
The Apartment
Director: Billy Wilder
For Fans of : Billy Wilder, Jack Lemmon, Romantic movies
Where to Watch:
Jack Lemmon plays an insurance clerk, C.C Baxter, who works in a busy corporate office consisting of hundreds of employees, sitting so close to each other on the office table that it is even suffocating to watch it. Baxter is a lonely guy who somehow has been bullied into lending his apartment to the executives of his company to carry out illicit affairs just before they catch the train to meet their wife. His neighbour, Dr. Dreyfuss hears all the love-making sounds and thinks that Baxter is a ladies’ man. The irony is that Baxter is in fact waiting on the sidewalk of his apartment, staring at his apartment window, for his executives to complete their activities. And why is he tolerating this? It is obvious – to climb the corporate ladder as quickly as possible.
Baxter is a bachelor and apparently, does not have a family. He has a crush though on one of the elevator girls, Miss Kubelik. And he is slowly shyly falling in love with the pretty and smart girl. Even when he pulls off the guts to ask her for a movie, she keeps him waiting outside the theatre because she meets up with one of her former lovers, who turns out to be the married Mr. Sheldrake, one of the directors at Baxter’s office. It is simple yet hilarious due to the way Lemmon carries the movie through out.

For Fans of : The Duo in the above pic, Romantic Comedies

As the story progresses, the two friends must navigate through a series of humorous and awkward situations, dealing with the eccentricities of the Cleary family and struggling to maintain their deception. “Wedding Crashers” has great comic scenes especially the chemistry between Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn makes this movie a great romantic comedy.
The Big Lebowski
Director: Ethan Coen , Joel Coen
For Fans of : Dark Comedy, Weird Shit
Where to Watch:
“The Big Lebowski” is a cult classic film directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, released in 1998. The story revolves around Jeff Lebowski, known as “The Dude,” played by Jeff Bridges, a laid-back and unemployed bowler. The Dude becomes entangled in a case of mistaken identity when he is mistaken for a millionaire with the same name. As a result, he gets involved in a kidnapping plot and a series of absurd and comedic events.
The Dude’s easygoing attitude contrasts with the chaotic situations he finds himself in, making “The Big Lebowski” a unique blend of comedy, crime, and eccentric characters. The film has gained a strong cult following and is celebrated for its witty dialogue, memorable characters, and distinctive style. Especially with the power-packed performances, it is just so enjoyable to hang out with the quirky characters. But still, there is a high chance that most people won’t get this movie mainly because of how weird it gets sometimes. The comedy isn’t the type everyone would like but for the ones who do – it has become their favourite movie.
